We’re going because the love of Christ demands a response—and that response is obedience. The gospel that changed our lives needs to be shared, and we sense God leading us to step out in faith for the sake of others.

Jesus told his disciples: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

  1. Walk and pray in the communities we may one day serve
We want to physically be in the places we’re praying about—not just look at them on a map. Walking the streets, interacting with people, & seeing with our own eyes helps us discern where God is opening doors.
  2. Learn from those already doing gospel work in Malawi
We’re not going in as experts—we’re going in as learners. We want to sit with faithful pastors, missionaries, and community leaders who are already loving and serving their people well. Their insights will shape how we serve, not just where.
  3. Seek God’s will for our family
At the core, this trip is about listening. We’re asking God: Is this where You want us? Is this what You’re calling us to? And we trust that He will make His will known as we humble ourselves before Him.
